We are in search of aTax Accountant
to fulfill a vital role in our accounting team. This position demands in-depth expertise in tax preparation and comprehensive knowledge of tax regulations.
The successful candidate will follow the established framework of responsibilities previously held by a former team member, aiming to ensure continuity and excellence in service.
Salary:
$90k-110k

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee accurate and punctual tax filing for high-net-worth individuals.
Perform year-end tax planning and projections to optimize tax liabilities.
Develop adjusted financial statements for various business entities.
Manage quarterly estimated tax calculations for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
Consult clients on financial strategies including cash flow, timing, and budgeting.
Optimize data collection processes for improved operational efficiency.
Leverage expertise in commercial real estate for tax savings.
Provide specialty services like litigation support and conduct custom analyses.
Administer general accounting functions, supervise accounting staff, and liaise with external auditors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
CPA eligibility or equivalent professional certification.
Substantial tax accounting experience, particularly within real estate or medical sectors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and tax software like UltraTax+.
Bilingualism in English and Spanish preferred.
Acute analytical ability with thorough documentation skills.
Commitment to continued education in accounting standards.
Self-motivated with excellent time management for meeting tight deadlines.
Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
