    Business Operations Analyst - E&O Inventory

    Location: San Jose, California, United States


    Job Summary:*Super Micro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Operation Business Analyst to support our fast growing organization located in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate needs to be a technical professional with analyzing and auditing experience in operation, inventory control, and/or related field. The Operation Business Analyst primary responsibility is to provide data analysis in guiding businesses in improving processes, inventory management, department inventory related expenses in support of the companys growth.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:Collect and analyze operations data by using SAP Lumira Discovery system to develop reports for management decision
    Oversee and collaborate on related processes to ensure proper inventory and asset controls are in place and operating effectively
    Analyze and audit departmental inventory and dispense/write off process and assist teams for improvement plans to maximize profit
    Analyze physical inventory and monthly cycle count programs; review the discrepancy with corrective recommendations
    Audit material planning to ensure meeting business growth demand and minimize slow moving/E&O inventory
    Collaborate with Product Managers teams for inventory disposition plan

    Achieves internal audit operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; enforcing policies and procedures; identifying and resolving problems; determining system improvements.


    Qualifications:*Bachelor degree in Operation, Accounting, Finance or Business related field
    Experience and knowledge of PC or Server hardware a must
    Strong personal communication skills to work well with all levels within the organization
    Advanced level in Excel and Power Point
    Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated
    Effective project management skills
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills, able to work independently
