    Pontiac, Michigan

    Position Summary

    We are seeking an Account Manager to promote and sell our crane and rigging services to potential clients. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions. Success in this position will be measured by meeting or exceeding sales targets and effectively representing our brand.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Bring in new business from existing clients or contacts in the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Medical, Food & Beverage, or Off-Highway industries. Develop new relationships with potential clients.
    • Collaborate with the estimating team to create compelling proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
    • Identify target markets, develop strategies for reaching new clients, and create compelling proposals and sales materials to showcase the company's offerings.
    • Schedule meetings with potential clients, conduct presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new business. Ensure that contracts are negotiated effectively to maximize profitability while meeting the needs of the client.
    • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue within existing client accounts while maintaining customer satisfaction.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred or equivalent industry experience.
    • Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar sales role or related field such as industrial equipment sales, construction equipment sales, material handling equipment sales, technical sales (engineering), industrial services sales.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
    • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to travel locally and regionally 50-75%.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Machinery moving, industrial construction, crane or, rigging sales experience is highly desirable.
    • Background in crane sale, operation or rigging is highly desirable.
