About Bode, IA


Bode, IA is launching a mobile app to serve its 45M+ social travel community by providing short vertical videos to help users decide where to travel.

Our team includes Jeremy, a leader in the travel and creator economy for ten years and a repeat founder (TicTrac exited for $60m this year), and Saad, a well-respected technical leader who has launched and grown multiple startups, including the unicorn Flink.


Role Summary


As the Tech Lead for our Flutter development team, you will be responsible for leading the core development team, defining and maintaining standards for code health and engineering velocity, and proposing solutions to business challenges.


Duties / Responsibilities:


  • Lead our core development team
  • Define and maintain standards for code health, engineering velocity, and coding culture
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.

Requirements:


  • 2 years of experience as a technical lead and people manager
  • Experience working with large mobile video/streaming platforms
  • Proven experience in Flutter and Dart. We understand that Flutter is a relatively new framework, so take the "Senior" in Senior Flutter Developer with a grain of salt, but you should be a seasoned developer in general
  • Experience with clean architecture and thirdparty libraries, APIs, and SDKs such as Facebook Pixel is a must
  • Experience with automated testing and building
  • Experience with Git, Terraform,
