    Senior Records Manager

    to join our team


    Responsibilities:


    Assists Federal Records Managers responsible for leading, planning and managing organization's RM program, for both core mission and administrative records, regardless of medium or formatWorks to ensure that records/information assets are managed to ensure government accountability, protect the interests of the public, and mitigate records-related litigation risksProvides technical expertise on organization-wide electronic & non-electronic RM issuesAdvises Federal Program Managers on adequacy of documentation, creation, and management of organization's recordsSupports the transformation of organization's RM processes to address the challenges posed by electronic recordsWorks to ensure all organizational information systems incorporate RM functionality, appropriate to supported records/information assetsConsults client(s) to ensure RM technology, is consistent with organization's enterprise architectureAssists the implementation of RM policies and guidance, in accordance with organization's strategic plan and all applicable Federal mandates for all electronic and non-electronic recordsCoordinates with Federal Program Managers to ensure records creation, maintenance, use, and disposition comply with organization's guidance and the Federal Records ActPromotes effective RM throughout the organizationSupports development, establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of effective systems of administrative control(s) for safeguarding all records and deployment of IT techniques and business management practicesSupports RM training programs, as required** This position is required to report on-site (client site) four (4) days/week at a minimum in order to meet Federally mandated deadline of June 30, 2024.

    Strong analytical skills, superior problem-solving skills, and demonstrates critical thinkingProven ability to anticipate requirements and proactively address new tasks to completionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable interacting with Senior Leadership/ExecutivesStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentEducation and Years of Experience:

    Minimum fifteen (15) years'

    RM-related

    experienceRequires

    BA/BS in related field (IT or History); post-graduate degree may be substituted for six (6) years of relevant experienceRequires

    M365 certification and an industry- recognized Records Management credential such as a Certified Records Manager (CRM)Security Clearance

    Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for access to protected information

    Security Clearance:
    Requires a

    fully adjudicated , active (or recently deactivated – within last two years)


    TOP SECRET
    (DOE " Q ") clearance; must be able to obtain/maintain a DOE "Q" clearanceWork Location

    On-site (client site) - Washington, DC
