Description

What can you expect?

  • You will conduct geotechnical field work (small borehole drilling, dynamic probing, accompanying excavations, plate load tests)
  • You will perform soil and construction waste sampling from stockpiles and excavations
  • You will assist in the testing of soil samples in the soil mechanics laboratory
  • You will arrange for laboratory testing
  • You will evaluate and assess laboratory reports
  • You will organize and coordinate field investigations

What should you bring?

  • Completed degree in geosciences, environmental management, geography or a similar field
  • Alternatively, completed training as a construction materials tester or experience in a related field
  • Ideally, some experience in conducting geotechnical field and laboratory investigations
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a BE license
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight for work in exceptional cases
  • Good organizational skills and flexibility
  • Physical fitness and manual dexterity
  • Good German language skills (B1-B2 level)
