    Description
    SCALE Healthcare has a client based in Austin, TX that is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

    This person does not need to be local to the area but will frequently travel there as needed by the client.

    Reporting to the CEO and the Board, the CFO will be key member of the senior leadership team and responsible for all finance, accounting, revenue cycle, tax compliance and treasury activities.

    .

    Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Manage accounting functions, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, including the company's outsourced provider of accounting services
    Lead revenue cycle functions, including company's outsourced provider of revenue cycle management services
    Manage treasury activities to ensure efficient utilization of bank accounts and financing vehicles
    Drive operational and working capital initiatives to improve cash flow performance
    Negotiate favorable vendor and supplier agreements
    Partner with CEO and the Operations team to drive performance to annual financial business plan
    Collaborate with Board of Directors to highlight key issues and implement key actions
    Partner with CPA firm to ensure favorable annual audit results and tax compliance
    Negotiate favorable managed care contracts and ensure compliance
    Perform acquisition and divestiture financial planning, due diligence, and integration
    The Successful Candidate

    The CFO will possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead the financial operations function of this growing, private equity sponsored organization.

    These competencies include, but are not limited to, the following:
    7+ years of progressive senior-level financial leadership experience, preferably in healthcare organizations
    Master's degree in accounting or finance, and CPA preferred
    Experience and knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, including managed care contracting
    Demonstrated track record of leading through business cycles, including growth and turnaround
    M&A experience, including opportunity assessment, deal proposal, negotiations, due diligence, and integration
    Leadership experience in all aspects of accounting and finance, including financial close, A/R, inventory, A/P, payroll, tax, internal controls, audit, treasury, budgeting
    Financial systems implementation experience, including assessment, design, development, change management, go-live, and steady state performance
    Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing, developing, and reengineering KPI dashboards
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    Strong computer skills, including programming, database design, and data visualization tools
    Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills; able to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    Track record of success in fast-paced, high-accountability, private equity sponsored organizations
