    Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing defense autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations for the Department of Defense (DoD) through autonomous and intelligent platforms.

    Job OverviewWe are seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of our autonomous surface vessels designed for the DoD.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, implement quality standards, and maintain regulatory compliance in the development and production of our ASVs.


    ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance:
    Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes and procedures for the design, manufacturing, and testing of ASVsCompliance: Ensure that our products adhere to all relevant industry standards, regulations, and DoD requirements, maintaining proper documentation and certifications

    Supplier Management:
    Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and reliability of components and materials used in our ASVs

    Process Improvement:
    Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action to enhance product quality and performance

    Quality Testing:
    Develop and oversee rigorous quality testing protocols and procedures to validate the performance and reliability of our ASVs

    Risk Assessment:

    Assess potential quality and safety risks and work with the engineering team to implement risk mitigation strategiesDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation, records, and quality assurance reports to track and communicate the quality status of our productsTraining: Provide training to team members on quality standards and best practices to ensure a culture of quality and continuous improvementCross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and other teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive product improvementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldExperience in quality engineering, quality control, or quality assurance in a relevant industryStrong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and compliance requirementsExperience with autonomous systems, maritime technology, or defense applications is a plusFamiliarity with tools and methodologies for quality improvement, such as Six Sigma or LeanStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectivesSaronic does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other reason prohibited by law in provision of employment opportunities and benefits.
