    Job DescriptionSalary:

    As a Project Engineer for Louisiana-based Ratcliff Construction Company, you will support and assist the project team to safely complete construction projects to quality standards, on schedule, and within budget. Under the supervision of the Project Manager or the Superintendent, the PE will initiate actions to achieve these objectives and proactively seek out ways to make processes more efficient. Responsibilities include contract administration, monitoring project progress, following up with completion or delay of project phases, scheduling meetings, maintaining project documents and reports, and a variety of other assignments.


    The right candidate has the ability to maintain oversight on a variety of project activities both on and off-site, identify issues and come up with solutions, and see to it that they are resolved promptly.     This opportunity is available for our Baton Rouge office.

    Examples of areas of responsibility include:

    • Planning and scheduling
    • Assembling pricing for changes in scope
    • Project Process Administration
    • Tracking material procurement and fabrication
    • Managing and coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and milestones
    • Communicating with our partners, from owners and architects to subcontractors and employees

    This role is for the hands on, eager to learn, fast-paced business minded assistant project manager who wants to find ways to be the best in everything that we do.
