    Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    The Project Engineer is responsible for project management including development of bid packages, review of drawings, oversight of contractors, budgeting, and scheduling.


    Development of individual project requirements (Scope of Work) based on input for local and corporate requirements, potential cost savings, increased uptime, etc.

    Troubleshoot DCS and PLC issues and create a control narrative for process changes.

    Leadership of commissioning activities related to new installations.


    Teamwork with local production and maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting of technical issues of existing processes, often with some insight necessary from other locations.

    Relocation expense coverage available. $130K-$150K.

    Requirements

    The Project Engineer will have a BS degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.

    5+ years of relevant capital project experience in the chemical process industry. Experience with projects in the $1M-$3M range.

    5+ years of experience working in an RMP and PSM environment.

    Working knowledge of PHA, HAZOP, and MOCs.

    Must be legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
