The department "Statistical Information Management, Mathematical Methods" is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT-supported processes, mathematical-statistical methods, and services for various central areas of the German Federal Bank.

  • As part of an innovative and growing team, you will drive the continuous expansion of the bank-wide big data platform and increase the analytical capabilities of the Federal Bank.
  • In an agile environment, you will coordinate and manage the further development of existing services and continuously bring in improvements.
  • With your strong communication and collaboration skills, you ensure successful cooperation with the users of the big data platform, the IT architect, and coordination offices while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Your experience in data modeling will help you evaluate the requirements of bankwide users.
  • You design solutions for integration, transformation, and provision of data and ensure the implementation of concepts within a wellcoordinated DevOps team.
  • In addition, you advise and support various user groups in the application of existing analysis capabilities.

Valuable qualities:

Your qualifications:


  • Accredited Master's degree or equivalent in (Business) Informatics, (Business) Mathematics, or a comparable field of study
  • Good knowledge of IT project management and agile software development (SCRUM, Kanban) as well as requirements management
  • Very good knowledge of data modeling for BI systems and data architectures
  • Knowledge of at least one common programming language (e.g. Scala,
