- Operate a large industrial saw.
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
- Pull, inspect and verify the product before processing.
- Properly and safely set up equipment.
- Verify that product meets set-up note specifications per written work instructions and record measurements (sampling plan).
- Perform equipment preventive maintenance.
- Properly enter/delete material identification tags per written instructions.
- Perform general clean-up.
- Assist in the packaging of material per work order.
- Maintain issued measurement equipment in working condition.
- Properly operate weighing scale and record inspection measurements.
- Identify, record, and segregate scrap and any non-conforming material.
- Accurately remove and stock products, customers' products, and various supplies according to the inventory plan.
- Accurately select products to fill customer orders and package them properly.
- Load and unload trucks and verify that the correct items are loaded and unloaded.
- Identify and isolate/remove defective material.
- Perform general clean-up and maintain a clean working environment.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience using calipers.
- Accurately read a tape measure.
- Experience with a metal saw is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
- Consistently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for 100 feet at a time.
