- Load WIP rolls of material on to the unwinds
- Set up the machine for various products.
- Safely and efficiently produce converted product to the required specifications.
- Remove excess trim scrap and throwaway in compactor or place in recycling area.
- Meet or exceed production quantity and quality standards.
- Perform quality checks.
- Operate the band saw safely and efficiently.
- Relocate the finished pallet to the designated storage area.
- Work up to a 12-hour shift as needed
- Read Shop Floor orders written in English.
- Read accurately up to 1/32" on a measuring device like a tape measure.
- Keep work area clean per 5S guidelines
- Keep all tools and equipment in properplaces.
- Enter production and quality check data electronically on a computer.
- Assiston or operateother converting or manufacturing equipment and perform preventative maintenance on the laminator as required.
- Track production data as required.
- 2+ years of Machine Operating experience in a high-production, manufacturing environment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent

Converted Rewind/Cutting - Slitter Operator
We are looking for a Converting Rewind/ slitter operator to operate out of our Aurora, IL Facility . Day shift
Job Summary:The Converting Operator is expected to safely and efficiently stage necessary material for the converting operation; perform machine set-up and operate the converting line to produce finished product that meet or exceed all manufacturing and quality standards. The operator may need to assist on or operate other Converting equipment, assist on the extrusion lines, or in the shipping area.

Physical Environmental Demands:Work in temperatures of 100 plus with high humidity for up to 12-hour shifts. Frequent Standing and walking; Frequent Stoop and Squat; Frequent Bending and some Kneeling and crawling; Occasional bending and twisting; Occasional stair climbing; Pushing/Pulling 30 – 90 pounds of force; Occasional reaching; Repetitive use of wrist, handsand fingers; Frequent use of shoulders, elbows, hips, kneesand ankles.
