Your tasksAs an educator, you will have the following tasks, among others: * Supervision of children including playing, meal planning, language development, and traffic education * Observation of children's behavior and development, including assessment and documentation * Planning and organizing events and activities * Counseling for parents and guardians Training processThe training lasts a total of 3 years and begins on August 1st of each year.

  • Create educational and parenting partnerships with parents and caregivers and support transitions
  • Develop institutions and teams and cooperate in networks
  • Practice socio-pedagogical work in facilities for children, adolescents, and young adultsPractical part takes place mainly in the daycare facilities of the youth welfare officeTheoretical part vocational school classes take place at the Alice Salomon Vocational College in Bochum GraduationThe qualification as a state-certified educator allows you to: work in various socio-pedagogical fields pursue studies at a university of applied sciences if you have obtained the university entrance qualification
