That's why we look for creative people like you to strengthen our diverse, inclusive staff — innovative thinkers who enjoy coming up with new ideas or taking existing ideas and making them work better for our patients.
Bring us your imagination and provide coverage of inpatient psychiatric consultations and ambulatory services in both Article 28 programs and the Physician Pavilion serving a culturally diverse community.
Provide inpatient psychiatric consultations in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams as requested by other hospital teams. TBHC does not have an inpatient psychiatry unit. Consultations may be provided via telemedicine.Consultations may be provided via telemedicine.
Establish and maintain a faculty practice for a minimum of 2 sessions per week. Sessions can be completed via telemedicine.
Be Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry
Have graduated from an accredited medical school
Hold and maintain a current and valid NYS license to practice medicine
Be eligible for an appointment to the Medical Staff
Have a passionate interest in academics and leadership; prior teaching experience with students and residents is a plus
Have thorough knowledge of psychological diagnosis, therapeutics, and pharmaceuticals

The Brooklyn Hospital Center provides a salary range and/or hourly rate to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
