The Division of Psychiatry and Medicine within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center and, Albert Einstein College of Medicine , is seeking a full-time academic psychiatrist to join our world-renowned Abdominal Transplant Service.

This includes excellent administrative staff, six social workers, pharmacist, psychologists, care coordinators, nutritionist, and doctors from various disciplines.

While the Psychiatrist is imbedded in the Transplant Center, they are very much part of the Consultation Liaison Team and the Department of Psychiatry.

As a team we participate in the education and training of many different learners including medical students, Psychiatry and Neurology residents, Consultation Liaison and Addiction Fellows, and Psychology Interns.

The Moses campus hospital is a 750-bed tertiary care, referral hospital with a wide range of services.

While the hospital draws patients from the itri-state area, the mission of Montefiore is oriented to providing outstanding, comprehensive care to the Bronx communities with a focus on social determinants of health and social justice.

Attendings will be proposed for faculty appointments at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Eligibleapplicants are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Additional training in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and/or Addictions Psychiatry is highly encouraged but not required.
