Exciting Opportunity: Information Security Systems Engineer LV3

Jacobs is looking for a skilled Information Systems Security Engineer LV3 to join their team in Columbia, MD. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the security and integrity of networking, computing, and enclave environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead security engineering efforts for designing, developing, and integrating secure networking and computing systems
Utilize expertise in Cybersecurity policies and procedures to implement secure environments
Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure project success
Support the development and integration of Cybersecurity architectures and systems
Assist in establishing secure relationships among different systems
Conduct security planning, risk assessment, and management activities
Define security requirements for handling sensitive data
Provide system designs that meet various data protection requirements
Offer system-level solutions to address security needs

Requirements:

Minimum of 20 years' experience as an ISSE with recent Cybersecurity expertise
DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3 certification
Hold Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) and CISSP Certifications

Clearance Requirement:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field
Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experience
4 additional years of ISSE experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree
