THE POSITION:
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Under the direction of the Highway Equipment Manager, the Clerical Assistant 2 performs a variety of clerical support functions for the Bucks County Maintenance District.
- Reviewing and processing garage personnel payroll making adjustments as needed.
- Maintaining, verifying, and processing employee leave requests.
- Maintaining garage files and assisting in the preparation, review, and input of work orders and accident reports.
- Gathering and organizing information in support of a variety of correspondence and reports related to garage operations from rough drafts, outlines or general instructions,
- Answering telephones, greeting internal and external customers to provide services or directing them to the appropriate point of contact promptly and courteously.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment.
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday
- Friday, with a 30minute lunch. (Summer hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title);
or: - Graduation from high school;
or: - An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
