CarShield is seeking talent to joins its growing Database Development team.This role is responsible for developing and managing databases in a SQL environment.Successful candidates will have a solid background in the creation, maintenance, and modification of databases in SQL.

Reporting to the Database Development Manager, this position is responsible for:

Managing current databases;
Helping with migration to new version of SQL Server;
Developing new stored procedures and SSIS packages to efficiently provide data for interval websites and analytic software;
Managing imports of data from third-party vendors;
Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements for SQL Database Developer:

Must be able to work in-office in St. Peters, MO;
Experience in Microsoft SQL Server in a professional setting;
Experience creating and modifying stored procedures;
Experience creating and modifying tables, views, and functions;
Understanding of T-SQL queries;
Working knowledge of creating and maintaining SSIS packages;
Basic knowledge of performance tuning stored procedures and indexing;
Basic knowledge in developing and designing databases and data models;
Knowledge of C# scripting in SSIS packages preferred;
Experience troubleshooting and fixing bugs or faults in programming;
Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously;
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
Ability to effectively multi-task.
