    Job Summary:

    The Office Assistant performs administrative duties and also serves as a courier, delivering items to clients and/or other offices.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Delivers items to and from other business establishments
    • Operates office equipment such as copier, printer, blueprint machine, paper cutter and binding machine
    • Files and retrieves records and documents
    • Collects and distributes paperwork from one department to another
    • Runs various company errands
    Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to write correspondence
    • Ability to effectively present information to clients
    • Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide
    • Ability to read, understand and carry out detailed written and oral instructions
    • Ability to prioritize
    • Ability to answer and route calls professionally and courteously
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    • Valid Virginia driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
