    Communication Systems Designer (RCDD)

    Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Communication Systems Designer (RCDD) to join their team

    The Communications Systems Designer will be involved in the entire project process including, but not limited to, scope definition/proposal development, initial assessments, concept creation, design, calculations, drawing production, editing specifications, and construction administration

    Responsibilities:
    • The candidate should have a passion for delivering high-quality solutions as our client's best partner
    • Design will include, but not be limited to, telecommunications/structured cabling, technology space planning, pathway infrastructure, equipment selection
    • Create detailed design drawings, specifications, narratives, and other relevant documentation in accordance with industry standards, codes, and owner project requirements
    • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
    • Be responsible for all aspects of the communications design with minimal supervision
    • Provide training, guidance and development to technical support team members as needed
    Required Qualifications & Experience:
    • This role requires in-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices related to communications systems design
    • RCDD certification is required
    • Minimum 5 years actively designing communications systems for buildings in the AEC industry is required
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology related degree OR 7 years of active design experience in communications systems for buildings is required
    • Understanding of and experience editing Division 27 specifications is required
    • Knowledge and understanding of industry codes and standards including ANSI/TIA and BICSI is required
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills required
    • Experience in Revit or AutoCAD is required
