    Description
    :

    Be part of a team of engineers and scientists developing designs required to implement removal and remedial actions for cleanup of environmentally impacted sites and abandoned mines.

    Work with a team to perform engineering design, develop plans, specifications, and cost estimating.

    Support engineering alternative evaluations for removal and remedial actions at abandoned mines.

    Support pilot studies of new technologies and approaches for mine clean up.

    Provide construction oversight of design implementation by construction contractors.

    Oversee field construction activities and be familiar with heavy equipment, construction means and methods, and management activities.

    Communicate with client and contractors in the field during construction; serve as liaison between field and senior engineers in office.

    Manage projects, budgets and teams.

    Skills:

    Project engineering, Project management, Design, Engineering, Osha 30, hazwoper, civil 3d, cercla, environmental engineering, investigation and analysis, Organizational and leadership skills, land surveying, eit, PE, Mining

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    2-4 years or 5-7 years of experience (open to a mid to senior level person)

    Physically capable to hike to the mines (high terrain): This candidate will be needing to high for possibly 2-3 hours to the mines, can they do that with equipment on their back and high elevation?)

    Carry field equipment (35 to 40 pounds).

    Must be able to pass an NVR, must have a valid license in the United states with a good record.

    Experience Level:

    Intermediate Level
