    Responsibilities:

    LightSpeed LA is seeking a talented Lead DevOps Engineer to join our teams in sunny Irvine California.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for games and enable content creators to deliver the most polished experience for our players.

    Join our team of industry veterans and help us build a team and culture of respect that pushes boundaries while having lots of fun.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead a DevOps engineering team to define, implement, and maintain pipelines that enable rapid iteration
    • Grow the engineers on your team, mentoring and guiding them along their career. Ensure the team has a healthy culture of problemsolving and collaboration.
    • Guide discussions with IT and other central corporate teams to ensure proper support and systems are in place for the rest of the development team
    • Work closely with other development teams ensure DevOps tools are reliable and meet the needs of the team
    • Work with your team to make improvements to the studio's ability to develop and test the game, especially on consoles
    • Guide the harvesting of metrics and implementation of reporting tools to aid development of the game



    Requirements:


    Requirements:

    • Passion for being a leader that seeks to mentor and grow both the engineers on your team and throughout the studio
    • 8+ years of DevOps, Build, or Automation experience in the Games or Tech industry
    • Experience managing direct reports
    • Experience guiding a team in the daytoday operation of multiple DevOps systems such as CI/CD, Source Control, Telemetry, Build Delivery, or an Automation Framework
    • An established history of developing DevOps systems, both from the ground up and inheriting existing ones
    • High expertise with C#, and familiarity with C++ and interpreted languages such as Python
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively with other developers, especially other leaders
    • High comfort level extending and improving an established code base
    • Value lean, simple, efficient, welltested code

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with Unreal in a DevOps capacity
    • Experience administrating a perforce environment
    • Experience shipping a game on PC or consoles
    • Familiarity with AAA asset and code pipelines
    • A strong understanding of game automation

    The base pay range for this position in the state(s) above is $136,620 to $249,970 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
