- Client Representation: Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment law matters.
- Advisory Services: Provide legal advice and guidance on employment policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Dispute Resolution: Handle negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations to resolve employment disputes efficiently and effectively.
- Policy Development: Assist clients in drafting and reviewing employee handbooks, contracts, and other employment-related documents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure clients comply with employment laws and regulations, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and others.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for clients on various employment law topics to help prevent legal issues and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Investigations: Conduct internal investigations related to employee complaints, misconduct, and compliance issues.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the NY State Bar and in good standing.
- Experience in labor and employment law.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Proven track record of successful legal outcomes in employment law.
