    Gearbox Express Logistics Coordinator Techs Mukwonago , Wisconsin Direct Hire Nov 29, 2023Position: Logistics CoordinatorThis position will report directly to the VP of Business Operations at Gearbox Express.

    This position should be viewed not as a Job but rather as a Career Commitment. This means wearing many hats beyond the scope of primary responsibilities. Of particular importance is your ability to interface with Customers, Sales, Warehouse, and Operations. This position will play an important role in the overall ensure Customer Satisfaction.


    Duties:
    Manage all international freight, LTL, and flatbed inbound / outbound activities: Oversee long term contracts with suppliers.

    Ensure the most appropriate supplier is selected based on the variables of situation and that purchase orders are written for proper tracking.

    Efficient execution of all internal logistics needs. This includes all supplier shipments for any outside service as well as inbound LTL freight. Ensure all suppliers are using the correct freight providers.

    Ensure accuracy of all import/export transactions (commercial invoices, etc) and performing necessary receipt of goods of international shipments at time of pickup.

    Identify opportunities to streamline/optimize shipments from suppliers to achieve the lowest total cost.
    Ownership of freight budgeting process and reporting monthly status. Ensure visibility within the organization.
    Work with Warehouse to ensure proper BOL generation and photo documentation.


    Oversee/project manage customer deliveries:
    Execution of gearbox shipment schedule, including coordination with logistics suppliers, and or crane and field service providers.
    Communication with customers to ensure on time arrival of shipments and clear expectations.
    Communicate changes in real time with logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
    Ongoing maintenance of Sage ERP and other internal documentation communication tools.
    Assist Inside Sales Coordinator with logistics for necessary parts for field service jobs and or parts orders.
    Maintain internal core schedule, including location, serial numbers.


    Qualifications:
    Minimum 3 years experience working in logistics management.
    Signifiant ERP experience (Sage, SAP, Oracle, etc.).Preferential treatment provided to bachelor degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
    Exceptionally strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel and PPT. Experience with vlookup, index/match, pivot table desirable.
    Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
    Ability to self-manage and prioritize work loadStrong organizational skills.
    Focused on Quality and details.
    Ability to be highly Customer Conscious.
    Desire for constant challenge.
