We are The Mair Agency, an authorized agency for BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina. We are consistently a top producing agency for BCBSNC and a member of BlueCross NC Hall of Fame. We are looking for an office administrative assistant / health insurance agent to join our team. You will be responsible for:
Performing general office duties such as answering phones, filing, scheduling, etc.
Assisting clients and customers with inquiries, claims, payments, etc.
Providing information and advice on health insurance plans and products
Selling health insurance policies and renewing existing ones
Following up with leads and referrals
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
Computer proficiency
Highly organized and able to follow specified direction and meet time sensitive deadlines
Possess a consultative & teaching quality in order to assist in policy sales
NC Health Insurance License is desired. Agency sponsoring to obtain this license will be considered if needed for the chosen applicant.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and ethical conduct
