As the
Legal Administrative Assistant, you will assist General Counsel to ensure that administrative tasks are completed and that business functions efficiently.

You assist with developing and implementing practices and processes that maximize the productivity of the GHP's Legal department and daily business functions.

Most importantly, you demonstrate a professional and friendly personality with an uncompromising desire to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- both for our internal and external customers (employees and residents).


REPORTS TO:
General Counsel


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist General Counsel with a variety of tasks and projects (creating reports and presentations, managing invoices/expenses/billing cycle, and preparing proposals.
  • Promote an effective system of communication between corporate and onsite teams.
  • Facilitate subpoena responses by gathering required documentation
  • Management of electronic files and recordkeeping
  • Attend weekly/monthly/quarterly calls with corporate and onsite teams to ensure ongoing support.
  • Schedule and manage all requirements for regular internal meetings. Take detailed minutes and accurately capture action points; communicate action items to appropriate stakeholders and ensure follow up and follow through.
  • Manage GHP calendars to ensure compliance with key deadlines.
  • Assist General Counsel with adhoc projects; create adhoc reports based on organizational needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Regular and physical attendance is required.

  • Work in a teamoriented environment and meet tight deadlines and prioritize projects with limited supervision
  • Must be detailoriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Must maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Be able to work well with a diverse group of employees in varying departments.
  • High school diploma or a bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of legal administration experience is preferred
  • Curiosity and continuous improvement attitude ability to seekout and implement creative business solutions and best practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be able to regularly travel to multiple property locations daily/weekly/monthly within the portfolio as well as company meetings and conferences.
  • Frequently move/traverse, ascend/descend stairs in/around apartment homes and community.
  • Constantly positions self to bend, stoop, reach, lift.
  • Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 25lbs with/without assistance
  • Frequently lift/move/carry 5lbs.
  • Constantly communicate, converse and exchange information with coworkers, vendors, residents, and visitors.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Constantly operates computer, 10key and other office productivity machinery.
  • Constantly works in low to moderate noise levels.

Salary Range: $26.00-$28.00 per hour, DOE.
