    Description


    Gather proposals, construction drawings, and specificationsProvide accurate detailed estimates for all projectsReview construction documents and understand the scope of work to bidPrepare cost analysis by examining material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs occurred in heavy industry projectsUtilize cost methods and data to submit estimates in a detailed breakdown format suitable for use by the project manager and the project teamMust have the ability to explain details behind each estimate, including the basis of the man-hours allocated for each task, personnel resources needed to execute each task, etc.


    Flexibility when assessing & bidding multiple projects with the end result of either handing off or executing those projectsMaintain lines of communications between company departments, project manager, and client with regards to cost estimating activitiesWork directly with individuals in the field offices as well as the other departments of the Corporate office to provide supportJob Qualifications: 3+ years in commercial construction, cost estimating or project management experienceAbility to read and understand architectural/construction drawings and determine the scope of work from those drawingsStrong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Projects, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat), organizational skills, time management, problem solving, accountability, data entry and attention to details are necessaryWorks well in a fast-paced industryStrong analytical skillsStrong work ethic, detail oriented and energeticMedical, Dental and Vision401 (k) Retirement savings plan (company match)Paid vacation, sick/personal time and floating holidaysPaid HolidaysWhy Broadway?
