    Join us as a Production Cost Estimator Engineer, playing a vital role in our sales or project management team. Your main responsibility will be to provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for production projects. By closely collaborating with our sales, project management, and engineering teams, you will assess bid documents, specifications, and design drawings to create comprehensive cost estimates covering materials, labor, fabrication, and obtaining vendor quotes when needed. Your expertise and meticulousness will be essential in maintaining cost-effectiveness and profitability for the company.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Project Analysis: Review client drawings, assist with RFQs and bid packages, and produce precise cost estimates. Submit RFIs for project clarifications or substitutions.
    • Cost Estimation: Analyze bid documents, specifications, and design drawings to deliver well-considered cost estimates, including materials, labor, and fabrication.
    • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing, overseeing RFQ submissions.
    • Technical Expertise: Aid the graphics team in creating drawings and verifying the technical feasibility of estimates.
    • Value Engineering: Implement value engineering and cost-saving strategies to optimize project expenses and improve efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in mechanical engineering/cost estimation within the signage or related field.
    • Skills: Proficiency in interpreting design drawings, strong visualization skills, analytical and mathematical capabilities, excellent communication, and effective problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge: Understanding of industry standards and regulations in signage and environmental graphics is advantageous.
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently effectively.
    • Design Aesthetics: Deep comprehension and admiration for design principles.

    Computer Experience:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Intermediate Excel, Adobe Acrobat is mandatory.
    • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, CAD, and estimating software is preferable.
