    Description

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation, with the ability to accurately forecast project costs and contribute to successful project planning and execution.

    Our Client is a well-established General Contractor based in Westchester County, specializing in commercial and residential construction projects.

    their team is committed to delivering exceptional quality and service, ensuring that each project meets their high standards of excellence and client satisfaction.

    Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
    Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project estimates.
    Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential project information.
    Conduct site visits and assessments to understand project scope and requirements.
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, material prices, and construction methods.
    Review and evaluate bid proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
    Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related issues.
    Track and manage changes to project scope, budget, and schedule.
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
    Proficiency in construction estimation software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    Knowledge of local construction market and building codes.
