- Assist as a resource for the Region's LiDAR efforts and assist with cross slope analysis,
- Assist in developing roadway alignments with processed LiDAR files, and,
- Completing quantity and cost estimating for highway pavement preservation projects.
- Construction inspection and documentation,
- Measuring and quantifying construction materials for contractor payment,
- Construction material sampling and testing, and,
- Ensuring contractor's work conforms to the contract specifications.

Job Description:
This Technician position performs moderately complex engineering duties in a variety of field and office specialties.
In the Winter and Spring months, the position will be responsible for estimating and design duties including:
Duties may include:
Five (5) years of experience in engineering -OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.
