The Social Media Coordinator will report to the firm's Social Media Manager and work closely with colleagues in the Global Business Development & Marketing department.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Supports the firm's social media strategy; creates organic and paid content for detailed and actionable campaigns for business development initiatives across multiple practices, products and industries, as well as recruiting, pro bono, diversity, wellbeing, employee engagement, and other areas
- Monitors, analyzes, and creates reports on the firm's social media engagement and other key digital communications metrics to understand the effectiveness of the overall strategy, content pieces and campaigns
- Manages the social media calendar and routine inbound requests
- Works with the social media manager to increase the adoption of social media fluency across all levels of the firm by supporting formal training programs and leading individual trainings
- Manages the firm's employee advocacy tool and support in the adoption of employee advocacy strategies across the firm
- Stays up to date with social media and digital communications developments and trends, emerging technologies, latest tools and best practices
- Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet the firm's strategic goals and objectives
Qualifications:
Education/Training/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (marketing, communications, English) or other discipline that requires analytical and advanced writing skills
Professional Experience:
- 3+ years of social media/digital communications experience
- Law and/or Professional services firm, agency or B2B experience strongly preferred
Technical Skills:
- Fluency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Teams)
- Knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok) and related employee advocacy and engagement tools and digital communications strategies
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a bonus

- Possess excellent writing and editing skills, including attention to grammar, spelling, tone and vocabulary, and strong presentation skills
- Has strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities under tight deadlines
- Possess strong analytical skills, the ability to make appropriate and timely decisions, and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Creative thinker with an eye for design and layout
- Highly collaborative
- Excellent interpersonal skills must have a mature, professional and personable presentation and demeanor
Physical Requirements:
- May require occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
