Our cooks are tasked with preparing and cooking our exclusive menu for our membership with the same standard and excellence you would apply if cooking for your own family. Youll be responsible for following our recipes, portion control guidelines and quality identifiers without flaw, all while championing food safety and creating Insta-worthy plates.

**Job Description:**

In this position, you will be able to utilize your culinary experience and skills alongside our experienced kitchen staff. Some of the tasks youll be performing include but are not limited to:

Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines

Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner

Working knowledge and proficiency at all three stations (Cold, Broiler/Grill and Saut)

Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant

Restocks all items as needed throughout shift

Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills

Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station

Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas

Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef

1-year previous prep or line cook experience.

Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays

Must be able to work throughout the entire season (May-November)

**Potential for Full-Time employment in Alexandra's Restaurant after the end of the season

ServSafe certification a plus

Must be able to be on feet for 8 hour shifts

Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills

Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
