    Description

    Job Title: Payroll Assistant

    Location: Workers are to report onsite at either Bellevue, Lincoln, Elmhurst, Jacobi, or Metropolitan

    Pay Rate: $25-30/hr

    Hours/Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

    Responsibilities:

    • Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
    • Assist in entering and managing wage garnishments.
    • Handle property payroll transfer reports.
    • Ensure accurate benefits deductions.
    • Conduct audits to ensure payroll accuracy and maintain data integrity.
    • Support leadership team in various accounting-related projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 1 year of payroll experience.
    • High School Diploma/GED required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Experience with QuickBooks and Pay Choice or Payroll Associates preferred.
    • Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

    Certifications & Licenses:

    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
