Retail Pharmacy Supervisor needed to support hospital system in Fort Wayne, IN.

'...The Retail Pharmacy Supervisor will provide first-line administrative and technical supervision in the organization, planning, implementation, and direction of comprehensive and cost-effective pharmaceutical programs and services at all four outpatient pharmacies within system.

This individual will be responsible and accountable for the performance of pharmacy functions required of the Pharmacy Leadership teams to ensure the efficient operation of outpatient pharmacies.
The Supervisor will actively establish, maintain, revise, and implement pharmacy operating procedures, work standards, and quality control measures. Direct reports may include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, and/or volunteers.
Additional responsibilities include consistent communication with and coordination between outpatient pharmacy and specialty pharmacy activities and the active promotion of good public relations and exceptional customer service.

Additionally, this individual must have excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and people service skills with the ability to also function in a clinical capacity to adequately address medication therapy management concerns.

The candidate will need to be comfortable with autonomy and resiliency, able to self motivate, willing to actively learn new concepts, and able to drive process improvement.

Education:
Must have a Bachelor's or Pharm D. degree from a school of Pharmacy. Our System operates 4 retail pharmacies, including two located in Allen County and two in DeKalb County....
Provided advanced pharmacy services in a variety of areas for decades...Offers a progressive pharmaceutical care environment in a variety of practice settings, with tremendous growth in ambulatory pharmaceutical care including primary care, hospital-based clinics, specialty clinics, and a retail/specialty pharmacy.
Inpatient services include interdisciplinary rounding, and surgical/critical care and oncology satellite pharmacies.
Pharmacy leadership includes a team with dedication to each facility and service type, including Directors for ambulatory/retail, quality & patient care services, and supply chain & logistics.

The rest of the leadership team includes inpatient and ambulatory clinical services managers and supervisors, distribution services managers and supervisors, retail & specialty pharmacy supervisors, oncology infusion manager and supervisor, lead pharmacists, and lead technicians.

Pharmacy is an early adopter of and a best-practice site for integrated technologies, including Epic, Parata MaxTM 2, ParataTM ATP 2 & Perl ,SynMed, and extensive inpatient technology.
