We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Pharmacist to join our team at our healthcare facility in Indiana.

As a Clinical Research Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in the execution of clinical research trials, focusing on both Oncology and non-Oncology clinical trials.

Your responsibilities will encompass various scientific, clinical, and administrative functions related to drug research.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of GCP, FDA regulations and guidance, Joint Commission standards, USP standards, applicable laws, and Parkview policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and evaluate clinical trial protocols
Establish and define the pharmacy's role in the clinical trial
Manage inventory and accountability of investigational drugs
Provide staff education on investigational drugs
Prepare and dispense investigational drugs in accordance with regulatory standards
Develop and maintain investigational drug standard operating procedures
Coordinate pharmacy services with interdisciplinary clinical research teams, principal investigators, and other stakeholders
Actively promote good public relations and exceptional customer service
Perform distribution services including procurement, dispensing, and compounding functions as needed.

Qualifications:

PGY1 Residency or equivalent experience required
Previous Oncology experience preferred
Previous experience in clinical research or investigational drug services highly preferred
BCPS or BCOP preferred
BPS board certification or similar credentialing required within 3 years of hire or once eligible
Selfmotivated, diligent, detailoriented, and able to multitask effectively
Understanding of multidisciplinary team dynamics
Ability to work collaboratively with the Clinical Research team, study sponsors, and regulatory agencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
