Description
Come Innovate Motion with UsJohnson Electric (JE) is excited to announce that we are now recruiting for a Project Manager for our Vandalia, OH location.
In this role you will manage new design projects for the Vandalia facility with a focus on solenoids and motors.
Your responsibilities will be:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
Lead project teams, including cross-functional members, to ensure clear communication, collaboration, and motivation. Delegate tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Develop project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Create project schedules, set milestones, and closely monitor project progress. Adjust timelines as necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate or address them. Proactively manage issues as they arise during the project.
Maintain regular and effective communication with project stakeholders, including team members, customers, and senior management. Provide status updates and address concerns.
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and that project objectives align with organizational goals.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
