    Experience:


    - 12 months of role experience necessary.


    - 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience preferred.


    - 3 months of travel experience required.


    - Experience with Epic is a must.

    Requirements:


    - Must hold a South Dakota license or compact license.


    - Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility to be eligible for the role.


    - COVID vaccination is mandatory. Exemptions for medical or religious reasons permitted.

    Pre-employment modules may be needed. Upload your certifications and health documents to speed up the onboarding.

    Additional Details:

    If the candidate has 1.5 years of ICU experience excluding travel and possesses notable RN experience outside ICU, request CRT approval from the management team.

    Patient Types:


    - Care for complex ICU patients including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases


    - Diagnoses cover ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, post-surgical, and multiple system trauma


    - Experience with cardiac issues is beneficial; experience with CABG/TAVR preferred


    - Experienced required for fresh open heart cases unless facility approves

    Decline travelers who are not willing to obtain TNCC before arrival.

    Required Education: Completion of an approved nursing education program

    Skills required:


    - Proficiency with patients mentioned


    - Include any relevant specialty experience in your offer details

    - ICU RNs can float to ED

    - PCU RNs can float to ICU


    - Skilled in IV medications, hemodynamic lines, ventilator management, telemetry, critical thinking, teamwork, and fast-paced critical care


    - Experience with Impella, IABP, and CRRT preferred

    Floating: Rare unless overstaffed. May float to any adult floor as needed. Confirm comfortability during the interview.

    Scheduling:


    - Every Other Weekend


    - No time off during holidays


    - Time off approval: Up to 7 days, must extend to cover full 13-week contract. No time off during Sturgis Bike Rally

    Scrub Color: Navy

    Blackout dates for RTO are specified.

    Include the preferred start date indicated in job postings to increase interview chances.

    Expect a call from a local area code for interviews.

    Provide 2 references from the last year. (Manager/Supervisor)
