    Internal Audit – Operational Senior Auditor (Hybrid)

    About the Chubb IA team:

    The Chubb Internal Audit (IA) department has a global presence with its leadership based in Philadelphia, PA, and Whitehouse Station, NJ. The team collaborates closely with management to assess critical control processes. A comprehensive internal training program equips team members with the necessary audit and leadership skills. Professional development opportunities, including pursuing certifications like CPA, CIA, CISA, are available to support individual career aspirations.     About the role:

    What you will do:

    • Engage in operational audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing, supporting risk-based audits and advisory projects for critical operational areas like underwriting and claims.
    • Take ownership of key aspects of the audit process including planning, fieldwork, and reporting; identify control deficiencies, assess risks, and provide strategic recommendations to auditee management.
    • Utilize problem-solving skills to analyze issues, draw conclusions, and offer valuable insights to improve internal controls.
    • Participate in audit and SOX project management by overseeing requests, providing updates to management and auditees, and monitoring budgets.
    • Guide junior staff on audits and SOX cycles, conducting testing for high-risk processes and controls.
    • Foster positive relationships with management auditees and contribute to enhancing IA's audit processes.
