    Audit Associate


    Location :

Are you ready to play an important role as an advisor with clients to help them achieve success?Our client is a mid-sized CPA firm specializes in offering comprehensive audit, accounting, and advisory services to a diverse clientele.

    The Audit Associate will be responsible for performing audit procedures, assisting with client engagements, and contributing to the overall success of the audit department.

    The firm is actively growing and there is no better time to join them


    Audit Engagement Execution:
    Conduct substantive audit procedures, including testing of account balances, transactions, and internal controls.
    Collaborate with the audit team to plan and execute audit engagements efficiently.


    Financial Statement Analysis:
    Analyze financial statements to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
    Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.


    Workpaper Documentation:
    Prepare and maintain detailed workpapers that support audit procedures and conclusions.
    Organize and manage audit documentation in accordance with firm policies.


    Client Interaction:
    Develop and maintain positive relationships with clientsCommunicate effectively with client personnel to obtain necessary information and address audit inquiries

    Collaboration with Audit Team:
    Work closely with senior associates and managers to address audit findings and refine audit approaches.
    Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance audit processes.


    Audit Planning:
    Contribute to the development of audit plans and risk assessments.
    Assist in the identification of key audit areas and potential audit issues.


    Client Education:
    Provide basic explanations of audit procedures and findings to clients.
    Collaborate with clients to address audit-related questions and concerns.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.5+ years experience in Public Accounting/AuditCPA license preferredStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
