- Daily processing of cash deposit batches and postings to subledger and general ledger, including payments made by check, EFT payments, and wire deposits. Generate and apply credit/ debit memos
- Partner with A/R team and Operations to troubleshoot and resolve unapplied cash balances
- Maintain daily cash posting/reconciliation schedules and accurate accounting/audit records and balance batches back to deposit total
- Run reports for Unapplied Cash resolutions. Reach out to ecosystem partners, if appropriate.
- Review payment files to ensure accuracy
- Review and apply reapplication of cash and return files; timely and accurately
- Review and complete AR balance write-offs; timely and accurately
- Provide support for other duties & projects as assigned
- Apply independent judgement with follow-up with ecosystem partners to determine direction
- 1-2 years of cash application experience is recommended, not required
- Quickly learn and grasp new tasks, ideas, and processes
- Ability to thrive in high volume, fast paced environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within Accounting
- Well organized, attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work in a team environment and take direction
- Flexible; ability to pivot or change assignment based on needs of the business
- Knowledge of Great Plains System a plus
