The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 professions across the country who want to become even better with us.

We are looking for you for a 3-year apprenticeship as a track builder / civil engineering specialist (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Sangerhausen. The vocational school and the ÜAZ (inter-company training center) are located in Magdeburg. The training workshop is in Königsborn near Magdeburg. If certain requirements are met, we will support you with longer travel distances (for example, financially).
What to expect in your apprenticeship:
  • With your team, you will be working on construction sites on our tracks
  • Together, you will work on tracks and switches, check our rails for errors, and replace damaged parts
  • You will renew the stones and gravel layers under the tracks - modern machines will make your work easier
  • To ensure a smooth train ride, you always pay attention to precise measurements
  • After your apprenticeship, you will be an indispensable part of the team and will be responsible for ensuring that all passengers arrive safely and smoothly at their destination every day
