Job Overview:

The
Sales Assistant provides sales team support and carries out responsibilities on a professional level in the following functional areas:

customer service, training new sales employees, media administration, and maintaining prospect mailing strategies.

This role is a resource to all sales leadership and may occasionally be assigned administrative duties from the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist sales leadership with tasks, organization, processes, and procedures to support the team
  • Performs daily routine tasks required to administer and execute sales programs
  • Answers telephone questions/concerns from clients/customers
  • Conducts selfaudits on a regular basis to ensure efficiency
  • Keys prospective clients and leads into the CRM system
  • Processes sales orders through the CRM system
  • Plans and assists in conducting new sales employee training to foster positive culture toward department and company goals
  • Assists with the maintenance of assigned sales representative's administrative tasks, such as, but not limited to
:

order processing, delivering messages to clients, calendar organization, booking appointments, and scheduling travel

  • Assists in maintaining accurate and complete client files
  • Serves as a resource for new sales representative questions
  • Perform other workrelated tasks as assigned.
  • Provides a summary of daily output

Requirements:


  • Current student in college or university, or equivalent degree preferred
  • 12 years' Sales and/or Admin experience is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to objectively communicate with employees and management during complex or difficult situations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully interact with all levels
  • Ability to work in a team environment, but not always in a team setting
  • Able to take initiative and possess a strong sense of ownership for scope of work
  • Problem solving and analytical skills to research questions and issues and be able to determine which issues should be escalated to direct supervisor
  • Ability to work under pressure and successfully multitask by recognizing priorities
  • Fastpaced, highintensity work environment
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn CRM systems.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
