    The hybrid-remote Principal Product Manager is responsible for defining and communicating the strategic path of both current and future CoreLogic products as well as being engaged in the day-to-day decisions regarding product development and product releases. The specific focus of this role is management of the Retention and Growth mortgage solutions focused on the Originator persona.

    This includes new product conception, definition, launch, and post-launch activities, including increasing the profitability of existing products. Other responsibilities include managing products and services through the development cycle as well as working with and influencing sales, marketing, finance, analytics, operations, implementation and product development, and senior management to achieve revenue and profit goals. The Principal, Product Manager provides end-to-end management support for multiple products requiring long-term decision making.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for a portfolio of data & analytic products that enable loan originators to acquire and retain customers, engage consumers more effectively at the right time with the right offer, and to recruit new referral sources to grow their business.
  • Build solid, data driven, business plans and strategies.
  • Identify product enhancements to balance a favorable ROI with customer needs.
  • Expand analytic offerings utilizing data assets available throughout CoreLogic.
  • Suggest and drive strategic partnerships for products.
  • Ensure delivery of innovation and customer value through product development process.
  • Determine clear prioritization and appropriate trade-offs regarding implementation issues based upon understanding constraints, dependencies, costs, resources, and customer benefits.
  • Formulate, document, and communicate tactical, actionable requirements for product development.
  • Work with prospects, customers, and partners to define product requirements and functionality.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure product delivery and quality.

    • Job Qualifications:

  • ​Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/industry experience
  • 8 years of mortgage, financial services, or product management experience
  • Strong experience with the mortgage origination, CRM and mortgage marketing.
  • Experience in high-tech business, product and/or program management.
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of product management.
  • Strong technical background and project/program management skills
  • Experience with analytic, machine learning/AI, and/or big data products is desirable.
  • Experience applying gamification into applications to engage users is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success setting strategy and executing in a matrixed organization required.
  • Ability to conduct and lead project meetings and track progress against stated strategies and timetables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide industry thought leadership.
  • Presentation skills to present to and persuade large and diverse audiences.
  • Recent experience within the retail mortgage origination ecosystem, understanding end-user challenges and mindset, referral sources and mortgage marketing are crucial to success in this role.
  • Experience with Mortgage CRM and POS tools useful.
