    Description

    Position: Desktop Support Technician

    Location: Waco, Texas 76710

    Duration: Long-Term

    Hourly Rate: $25 on W2

    100% On-Site Role

    Experience Required:

    • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 & Office 365
    • Software Troubleshooting Skills
    • Ability to Provide Remote Assistance
    • Strong Attention to Detail and Self-Starter

    Job Description:

    You will be responsible for tasks such as installing, diagnosing, and maintaining computer-related products like desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, standard software, and low-end servers at customer sites or depot locations. This role is ideal for a desk side support technician with a good grasp of Help Desk procedures and tools. You will leverage both standard methods and personal expertise to resolve complex product support issues. From troubleshooting and device repair to PC reloading/re-imaging and network product installation and optimization, your assignments will vary in complexity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide software, hardware, and networking support for desktops, laptops, and servers
    • Offer maintenance and support on legacy products
    • Support Core server products
    • Perform disk replacement on enterprise storage products
    • Install and maintain PCs, software, networks, servers, and peripherals
    • Manage network products from operational and maintenance perspectives
    • Execute installs, moves, adds, and changes as needed
    • Test and certify PCs, networks, servers, and client-approved applications
    • Provide follow-up on issues or escalate when necessary
    • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions
    • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout service delivery
    • Meet client-specific Service Level Agreements and update tickets within the system accordingly
