    Description

    Bartech Staffing is a leading engineering, technical and professional staffing firm, and our clients include some of the nation's biggest companies.

    Our client has engaged us to assist them in hiring a contract Powertrain Controls Engineer. The Core Vehicle Controls Software team is looking for an engineer to have the responsibility for validating propulsive controls.

    You will join a team, with the opportunity to restrengthen existing robust verification methods, support test execution, and demonstrate results through data analysis and reporting.

    Perform Software Validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software on HIL and vehicle
    Store and retain documents and test records according to established guidelines

    1+ years' experience in automotive embedded systems software
    ~ Understanding of testing methodologies and ability to utilize test equipment (multi meter, scope, logic analyzer, etc.)
    ~ Solid understanding of vehicle structure, subsystems, and components (GAS, HEV and BEV)
    ~ Understanding of Module Hardware/Software Architectures (PCM, HCM, TCM, BCM, Satellite processors - ABS, SJB...)
    ~ Experience with CAN networks and OBD systems and demonstrated ability to utilize related tools (CANalyzer, PTDiag, etc.)
    ~ Bachelor's Degree
