  • The_ Technical Packaging Manager _will manage the execution of new product transfer and launch, continuous improvement on package value engineering and OEE, implementation of quality/compliance projects with contract manufacturers and internal sites. Provide packaging technology expertise, knowledge, advice and leadership to ensure the region meets its supply and commercial objectives.
  • This role will give YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
  • This is a key leadership role assuming full accountability for all Packaging activities for CMOs within scope of the Supplier Relationship Team (SRT) including:
  • Package assessments and continuous improvement at CMOs
  • Oversight and implementation of packaging validation/qualification/line trial activities impacting HALEON products
  • Resolving quality issues, customer complaints as well as package damages throughout the supply chain while ensuring supply continuity.
  • Leading and delivering on projects in areas of problem resolution, technical transfers and cost savings
  • Identify and lead value engineering projects that deliver ongoing savings for HALEON products
  • Proactively ensuring packaging procedures and documentation are compliant with legal, regulatory and HALEON internal standards
  • Establish strong relationships with commercial and resolve packaging issues that may impact their initiatives
  • Provide Packaging expertise and knowledge to CMO and internal packaging sites to drive improvements via designs, materials, equipment and processes
  • Ensure regional packaging knowledge and expertise is transferred within HALEON
  • Colleague will work independently on most assignments and will be primarily accountable for identifying and prioritizing the projects / activities he / she is assigned to.
  • Develop and maintain the knowledge system to leverage troubleshooting experience and improve CAPA effectiveness
  • Support regional governance routines to track site performance vs plan and facilitate complex issue resolution.
  • Coach, mentor and develop technical talent within CMOs and internal sites

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering
  • 10+ years of packaging experience in a pharmaceutical/food/consumer healthcare environment
  • 2530% travel required
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to summarize complex ideas and problems and effectively communicate to stakeholders in different functions.-
  • Functional knowledge in packaging in the consumer products and healthcare industry including printing, supplier interface, structural package development, materials, artwork and graphics-
  • Technical troubleshooting-
  • Understanding of supply chain requirements from concept to manufacturing, distribution, customers and consumer-
  • Stakeholder management across a matrix organization to deliver results, demonstrating an ability to work in an ambiguous context and with short deadlines.

  • The salary range for this role is: $118,842 to $163,408 plus an 18% bonus.
