- Subject matter expert for Form I-9 requirements, E-Verify, minor permit laws, and Chipotle's onboarding policies and procedures.
- Create and manage daily audit assignments (I-9s, minor permits, account merges, personal information changes, employees not eligible for rehire, etc.).
- Complete routine audits, including team quality audit review, I-9s, and minor permits.
- Investigate and resolve escalations (rehires, onboarding tasks, and general compliance-related inquiries).
- Maintain metrics representing Form I-9 performance, minor permit adherence, and ServiceNow case completion.
- Proactively identify process improvements to improve the employee onboarding journey.
- Monitor trends related to employee inquiries and evaluate alternate solutions.
- Educate managers on onboarding policies and procedures as needed and implement solutions for speedy onboarding through enhanced communication.
- Lead small team projects and assist with other large projects, as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Customer Service, Shared Services, or Operations experience a plus.
- Requires strong time management and exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated experience as a project team member.
- Excellent analytical and research skills with attention to details.
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with E-Verify, Workday and ServiceNow (or other case management software) preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Analyst, People Operations, you will be responsible for employment compliance with work authorizations, including new hire documentation.
You will provide analysis, perform audits, organize, and report information and metrics representing company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
This role is responsible for ensuring we are providing follow-up with employees and managers for necessary employment authorization documents.WHAT YOU'LL DO

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $49,000 to $63,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
