Job Type Full-time Description What You'll Do: As our Human Resources (HR) Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the human resources team while gaining valuable experience in all aspects of the HR field.

This is a newly created, entry-level position based in our Lexington Park, MD corporate office.

We're looking for someone with a proactive spirit who wants to learn and grow their career Work will be performed 100% on-site (this is not a remote or telework position).

Responsibilities will include:

Providing direct administrative support to the Human Resources team
Entering and maintaining employee data in the HRIS system (Paylocity) and personnel files
Ensuring the employee onboarding process is a positive and cohesive experience for new ASEC hires
Assisting with the employment verification process, maintaining employee records and verifying I-9 documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements
Taking a proactive approach in responding to employee questions, concerns, and issues in a confidential manner
Support special projects and tasking that align with ASEC's strategic initiatives
Duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and the scope of the job changes as necessitated by business demand

Requirements Who You Are:

You have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related area of study (preferred)
You have 1-2 years of Human Resources experience and a basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures
Bonus points if you have experience with data entry and reporting in an HRIS platform (e.g. Paylocity, ADP, etc.)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills are a must. Experience using MS Teams and Adobe is preferred
