- Supports the Business Development and Proposal Department.
- Researches and gains thorough knowledge of corporate capabilities including current customers, agencies, and contracts.
- Assist in identification of opportunities for pursuit by monitoring government forecasts, utilizing business development tools, and meeting with teammates.
- Capabilities assessments.
- Labor category analysis.
- Security requirements research.
- Conflicts of interest research.
- Analysis of draft/previous requests for proposals (RFPs) and statements of work (SOWs).
- Analysis of sources soughts, requests for information (RFIs), and/or market surveys.
- Analysis of incumbent and historical contracts.
- Assist in compiling pursuit recommendations and justifications.
- Assist in determining viable teammates and schedules/facilitates partner meetings.
- Assist in developing proposal drafts, templates, data calls, etc.
- Update/maintain opportunity pipeline data and related actions.
- Other duties as assigned or required
- 1 year DoD proposal, business development, and/or capture management experience.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present findings and analyses.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
